David Lukas, Associate
Mr. Lukas joined Broadmark Capital in 2009. His prior professional experience includes working at a boutique M&A investment banking firm, a specialty institutional asset manager with $20 billion under management, and a retail brokerage within a Fortune 500 financial services company.
At Broadmark, his responsibilities span research and analysis related to the all of the firm's activities. With respect to Broadmark's investment banking business, Mr. Lukas' responsibilities include client sourcing and transaction management; his role also involves discerning and qualifying potential direct investments in relation to the firm's merchant banking activities. His areas of interest include internet, mobile, new media, and enterprise and consumer software.
Mr. Lukas graduated from the University of Washington with undergraduate degrees in Entrepreneurship and Philosophy. He is a candidate for the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, having passed the level 1 and 2 exams, and holds Series 7, Series 63 and Series 79 FINRA registrations.
